Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to improve students' ability to cope with emergency situations in clinical settings by examining students' knowledge level and awareness level on dental hygiene and first aid.
Methods: A survey was conducted on the self-assessment 207 students from first, second, and third grades in the Department of Dental Hygiene.
Results: Dental hygiene students’ The knowledge level of first aid knowledge of dental hygiene students was low, but and their awareness of the necessity of first aid education was high.
Conclusions: Therefore, it is judged that this study will serve as basic data for the development of first aid education programs.
